Position Summary: The Identity and Access Coordinator is responsible for managing user lifecycle activities including account creation, access provisioning, and permission assignments across enterprise applications and systems. This role ensures that employees, contractors, and partners have the appropriate access to resources in alignment with organizational policies and security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage user accounts in enterprise systems and applications.
- Assign, modify, and revoke user permissions based on role requirements and organizational policies.
- Process access requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain accurate records of account creation and permission changes.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, least privilege principles, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with IT teams, HR, and department managers to validate access needs.
- Escalate access-related issues to senior IT staff or security administrators when necessary.
- Participate in periodic reviews of user access and permissions.
- Basic understanding of account provisioning and permissions in IT systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts is a plus.
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Systems, or related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or access management preferred.
Working Conditions
- Office environment or hybrid work arrangement.
- May require occasional after-hours support during system migrations or audits.
