The Retail Sales Coordinator works at a company display at Costco to answer consumer questions and to encourage consumers to schedule an appointment for an estimate for HVAC products.  Work is performed in accordance with company processes and procedures and in compliance with the retail store’s requirements.

This is a weekend, part time role up to 20hrs a week. Based out of Costco on Rockwall or Southlake.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Greets consumers approaching the company display to encourage them to stop and learn about the company’s HVAC products.
  • Explains features and benefits of the various products and solicits information from the consumers on their individual HVAC systems and operating efficiency and effectiveness.
  • If consumer appears to be a valid potential customer, schedules an appointment for a Residential Sales Consultant to visit the consumer’s home to provide an estimate to meet the consumer’s HVAC needs.
  • Uses retail store’s system and/or company system to record information on the sales lead and scheduled appointment.
  • Represents the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and activities.
  • Performs similar/other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience working in a retail sales environment directly serving the consumer.
  • Experience working display booths, trade shows, or related sales experience is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to reach out to attract customers as opposed to waiting for the customer to approach the display booth.
  • Working knowledge of the HVAC industry is desirable.
  • Effective communication skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Excellent customer-service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers, business partners, and customers in a pleasant, business-like, and customer-focused manner. Ability to communicate with diverse populations.
  • Experience or training the use of computers and related systems in an administrative office environment.
  • Available to work morning, afternoon, evening, and/or weekend shifts to cover retail hours.
